Welcome to Utah Clay!
Hi! My name is Dara Hartman and I’m a full-time studio artist in Salt Lake City Utah. I moved to Utah in 2012 and had heard about all of the incredible ceramic art being made here. At first I kept a spreadsheet with a list of artists, studios, and events but in 2017 I decided I wanted to share this information with others. So I built UtahClay.org.
This website is meant to serve as a resource of clay artists, educators, art education, and galleries in Utah. It is a work in progress and we want to include as much information about clay as we can from all over Utah. All full-time ceramic artists and educators are welcome to join. There is no fee to be listed. Just fill out the form below and upload a photo. We also welcome high resolution photos of kilns, studios, and photos of cities in Utah to be used in the gallery on the home page. Let us know of any information about education facilities and galleries you feel should be listed here. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.
